Christmas Eve and Day

For Christmas Eve we had a nice dinner with the Ozaki side of the family. Grandma Annie had a cute story and then we had the present game. In the end Kyle got a dutch oven and slippers and a gift card to Burger King and I got a new purse a book "Mormons for Dummies" and the movie Four Christmases and a Visa gift card. It was fun to bargain with everyone at the end of the game. After that we watched Pitch Perfect and just hung out.
Christmas day we got up and opened presents and then started to make breakfast. Kyle's WHOLE family came over for a yummy brunch. We then all played some of the new games and then we packed up and went to visit my side of the family.

Colton & Megan's Reception 12-21-12

We couldn't make it to the sealing because of work, my boss was gone and I had to take over, plus we had taken Monday and Tuesday off for our anniversary. It was all OK though because we headed down to Mesquite for the reception

Bingo Night

SUU was having a Bingo night for the students to win some pretty cool prizes and Kyle and I got in on the action...or tried with Megan and Taylor and then Claire and Austin.  On one of the rounds we were only one away from winning it was pretty intense for a while. Some of the cool prizes were a TV, ping pong table, I pod, Camera, bike, blue ray system. Those were the good prizes but then there were some that weren't so good like tissues, Ramen Noodles, Toilet paper, snow globe (our friend Claire actually got the snow globe) and then some other cheesy things.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Sunday November 25 after church we got out the Christmas Tree. Kyle was so excited to put it up! We have been waiting almost a whole year to get it out of the box for the first time. After Christmas last year we got it on sale with some wedding money we had. I think it was a pretty good investment. Last year I also made my wreath with ornaments that I got on sale.We whipped out the garland we bought for our reception and then the Noel decorations I actually got from my Secret Santa from work. Sierra loves Pintrest and Joann's so I was really lucky that she drew my name because I had talked with her about making it but not having the desire to spend the money on it yet.

Birthday and State Football

We weren't planning on going down to the Valley but Kyle's cousin Cameron and Kelsey were going to go so we hitched a ride with them. Friday it was Lori's birthday (and yes she was 46 again) Saturday we went to Vegas to watch the 3A state football game and to watch Lindsay cheer. Truckee won but we still had a good time watching the game. After the game we headed back to the Valley and packed up the car and were on our way back up to Cedar. We got back around 1:00 am. It was a quick fun trip and good to see family.
