Easter Weekend & Kyle's Birthday

Saturday we got together with Kyle's family at his grandparents' house and had a nice Easter Lunch and then all the "kids" got to do an Easter Egg hunt. Kyle and I were really lucky and found $40 together. :)
Macie...such a cutie

On Easter Sunday we celebrated Kyle's birthday with his family...

To start out with his first present for his "Birthday Week"

Gage smiled for me :)

He got a new Jackie Robinson shirt. He already has one that he loves and kept wearing it even though it has holes in it...That's how much he loved it so I got him another one.

Kyle also got a remote controlled helicopter...he's wanted one forever

Kyle and I on his actual birthday April 3...we went out to dinner with some friends then  headed to our apartment. Played  Settlers of Catan and then had angel food cake with strawberries and whip cream.
For Kyle's birthday he was able to also get an all weather golf jacket that is pretty fancy and because he loves Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit so much he got The Hobbit movie early. (the day it came out) and a replica ring from the Lord of the Rings....He had wanted a ring to "over rule" my ring for a while now and just laughed when he opened it. :)
I love Kyle so much, he is one of the most selfless people I know...He works so hard all of the time with work and school. I couldn't get up early like he does and be a happy person everyday and do all the things he does.  He has really hard classes and is doing so well in all of them. He wants to be able to provide for our family and is working so hard to get into graduate school. He always finds time for me in between studying to do what I want to do and always helps me cook dinner and with cleaning up...or cooking all by himself so when I come home from work I don't have to worry about it.  He's AMAZING...Happy Birthday!

Finished blanket

A couple of years ago I started this project and it is FINISHED!!

Wahoo...it's done! Thanks to my mom's help it would have taken me forever! :)

Kyle really liked this fabric...it'll be a good blanket for when he's coaching little league one day.
